Christopher A. Black

Christopher Black has over 20 years of Human Capital consulting experience. His roles as a global Human Resources leader have been the foundation for his awareness of the many challenges Leaders face addressing Strategy, Communications, and People Management.  He is a master facilitator and is certified in several Change Management models.

Chris has been recognized for utilizing his relationship building skills, versatility, and business acumen to translate business strategy into value-added human resource solutions. Chris has implemented programs to support business strategy for various clients in Executive Coaching, Team Coaching, Leadership Development, Communications Curriculum, and Strategic Facilitation.

Prior to consulting, Chris gained his professional experience as a Director of HR for GE, Manager of Human Resources at Nokia, and as a Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCooper’s Global Human Resources Solutions (GHRS).

His clients have included GE, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, the Coca-Cola Company, the Home Depot, Raytheon Corporation, Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte Faculty Excellence (DFX), Johnson & Johnson, UCB Pharmaceutical, Novartis Pharmaceutical, Celgene Pharmaceutical, the Department of Defense, the Defense Intelligence Agency, Skeeter Boats, and Yamaha Marine.

Chris earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from The College of William & Mary and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He has completed international exchange programs at Christ’s College—Cambridge University, and the Stockholm School of Economics. Chris is also a graduate of the GE Human Resource Leadership Program (HRLP).
